Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to run GAMSATready: your account details and your practice activity. We use a trusted AI provider to mark your essays and answer your questions. We do not sell your data. You can delete it at any time.

When you create an account: your name and email address, and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself).

As you use the Service: your practice attempts, answers, bookmarks, essays you submit for marking, mock results, and the study preferences you set (such as your test date).

Basic technical data needed to keep you logged in (a session cookie).

To provide the Service: saving your progress, showing your dashboard, marking your essays, generating study plans, and keeping your account secure. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the Service.

When you request essay marking, tutoring or a study plan, the relevant text (such as your essay) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the feedback that is returned to you. We send only what is needed for that feature. We do not use your content to train models.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as our AI provider and, in a production deployment, hosting and payment providers), and only as needed to deliver the Service or as required by law.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you clear your data in the dashboard or delete your account, the associated data is removed.

You can access and export the data you have created, correct your details, and delete your data at any time from within the Service. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act. To exercise them, contact us.

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed at children under that age.

We hash passwords and limit access to your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
